How it works

Built for the moment a language barrier walks up to your front desk or rings your business line.

Step one

Call your interpreter line

Your business gets its own dedicated number. Ring it from any phone — no apps, no logins, no account codes to remember.

Step two

Name the languages

Say the pair you need — "English and Polish" — or simply start talking. The interpreter recognises the language and confirms in seconds.

Step three

Talk through it

Put the phone on speaker between you. One person speaks, pauses, and the interpreter repeats it in the other language — both directions, for as long as you need.

Who it's for

Any business that loses time, money or trust when a conversation hits a language barrier.

Garages and MOT centres

Take bookings, explain faults and agree prices with customers who don't speak English — without guesswork at the counter.

Interpreting for garages

Letting agents and estate agents

Handle viewings, referencing questions and tenancy details clearly with applicants in their own language.

Interpreting for lettings

Clinics and dental practices

Book appointments and explain simple instructions at reception, so patients leave understanding what happens next.

Interpreting for clinics

Hotels and guest houses

Check guests in, take requests and resolve issues in their language, at any hour the front desk is open.

Interpreting for hotels

Salons and barbers

Get the details right — the style, the appointment, the price — before the chair, not after.

Interpreting for salons

Taxi and courier firms

Confirm pickups, addresses and delivery instructions with customers and drivers across any language pair.

Interpreting for taxi firms

Interpreting agencies were built for booking ahead. This wasn't.

Frequently asked questions

How does the phone interpreter actually work?

You call your interpreter number and tell it which two languages you need. Put the phone on speaker between you and the other person. One of you speaks, pauses, and the interpreter repeats it in the other language — back and forth, in both directions, for as long as you need. It's the same rhythm a human telephone interpreter uses.

Which languages are supported?

More than 30 languages to and from English, including Polish, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Turkish, Dutch, Greek, Russian and Ukrainian. The full list is in the Languages section above, and it grows as we expand.

Do I need to book in advance?

No. There's no booking, no account codes and no waiting for an interpreter to become available. The line answers in around two rings, at any time of day, every day of the year — that includes rare language pairs that agencies usually need notice for.

Is there a contract?

No contract on any plan. Billing is monthly and you can cancel any time. If you run out of minutes mid-month you can top up instantly, and unused top-up minutes never expire.

Can I use it for legal or medical interpreting?

It's built for everyday business conversations — bookings, enquiries, viewings, front-desk moments and simple instructions. It is not a certified or sworn interpreting service, so it shouldn't be used for court proceedings or formal legal and medical interpretation, where a qualified human interpreter is required.

What happens if the interpreter mishears something?

Ask it to repeat, or say the sentence again more simply — it will re-interpret without fuss. Numbers, addresses and prices are repeated carefully because they matter most. Like any interpreter, it works best when one person speaks at a time.

How is this different from a translation app?

Apps need a decent phone, a data signal, an app install and someone willing to pass a handset around a screen. This is just a phone call — it works on any phone including landlines, it manages the conversation rhythm itself, and both people simply talk.
