Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 July 2026
The short version: this site uses essential cookies and browser storage only - the minimum needed for signing in and keeping the site secure. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no selling your browsing to anyone. Because everything we set is strictly necessary for the service to work, UK law does not require a consent banner - which is why you have not been nagged by one.
1. What we actually set
When you use the site - and especially when you sign in to your account - the following is stored in your browser:
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Auth session | Keeps you signed in to your account between visits, so your account pages, call history and plan work. | Until you sign out, or the session expires |
| Security state | Abuse prevention and request integrity around sign-in and payments. | Session |
| Stripe (checkout pages only) | When you open our secure checkout, Stripe sets the cookies it needs for fraud prevention and to process your payment. These are set by Stripe on Stripe's pages. | Per Stripe's policy |
That is the whole list. If you never sign in or buy anything, the site works with essentially nothing stored at all.
2. What we deliberately do not use
No advertising or retargeting cookies. No social media pixels. No cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not share browsing data with third parties for their marketing.
3. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because ours are essential-only, blocking them mainly affects one thing: you will not be able to stay signed in to your account. The marketing pages will work fine either way.
4. Changes
If we ever add anything beyond essential cookies - analytics, for example - we will update this page first and add a consent mechanism where the law requires one.
5. Questions
Anything unclear, use the contact form. Our Privacy Policy covers the wider picture of what data we hold and your rights over it.
